Here are some examples of ways to help:

🌱 Hands-On Work

• Clearing debris and overgrowth in the ʻauwai

• Removing invasive species

• Planting native plants or loi crops (like kalo/taro)

• Maintaining walking paths or access points

• Helping with loʻi (taro patch) restoration and maintenance

• Water flow monitoring and adjustments
  
  

🌺 Cultural Support

• Assisting with cultural protocol during gatherings (e.g., hoʻokupu, oli)

• Preparing food for workdays (lā hana) or events

• Sharing moʻolelo (stories) or traditional knowledge

• Leading presentations
  
  

📣 Education & Outreach

• Guest speaker at our monthly meetings (e.g. advocacy, history, traditional Hawaiian farming, etc.)

• Teaching or assisting during field trips or school visits

• Creating educational materials or signage

• Leading tours or informational talks

• Running social media accounts or newsletters
